Partners Julia Pazos and Tania Liberman attended the world’s largest intellectual property conference, hosted by the International Trademark Association (INTA).
Held from May 18 to 22 in San Diego, California, the event brought together over 10,000 IP professionals from across the globe, fostering strategic discussions on intellectual property, innovation, technology, and regulation.
Throughout the conference, we had the opportunity to reconnect with long-standing clients and partners and strengthen relationships with representatives from law firms and companies from various jurisdictions. Attending INTA is always a valuable opportunity for exchanging insights and staying up to date in a high-level international environment.
On this occasion, our partner Julia Pazos also spoke at a panel organized by IPCA – Caribbean IP Association, where she addressed the challenges of the cannabis industry in Brazil. Her presentation focused on the evolution of ANVISA’s regulations, the role of the BPTO in protecting IP assets such as trademarks, patents, and geographical indications, and the growing opportunities for both local and international companies in this rapidly developing market.
Events like this reinforce our commitment to technical excellence and our strategic approach to matters that connect intellectual property, innovation, and business.
