Julia has over 20 years’ experience in insurance and reinsurance, advising insurers, reinsurers, brokers, distribution channels, financial institutions, investors and large economic groups on highly complex regulatory, corporate and transactional matters.
She has a practice in regulatory matters before the Brazilian Superintendence of Private Insurance (SUSEP), M&A transactions, the incorporation and restructuring of insurers and reinsurers, product structuring, bancassurance arrangements, insurance distribution, local and cross-border reinsurance, and regulatory innovation projects, including SUSEP’s Regulatory Sandbox.
She has taken part in the structuring and licensing of insurers, reinsurers and insurtechs, with experience both in building businesses and in leading strategic transactions for local and foreign clients, as well as in the adjustment of highly complex claims across various industries.
