Last Thursday (August 7), we held a special cocktail reception with some of our clients and partners in Belo Horizonte.
The highlight of the evening was a toast celebrating the return of Joaquim Oliveira, who, in addition to leading the firm’s Banking and Finance practice, will have closer proximity to cases handled by the Minas Gerais office. We announced that Marcelo Moura is returning to Belo Horizonte, after a period in São Paulo, to lead the practice’s cases.
During the gathering, we also celebrated the career of Alice Brandão, an attorney who was with us for 16 years and left the partnership to pursue a new professional journey. She now joins the legal department of one of our key clients, a move that highlights her excellence and the bonds we have built over the years.
